Following an announcement by the Government that we’ll be moving into Plan B, we can confirm that, in terms of access to SU Bar and Venue during evening events with large crowds, our procedures will remain the same with one minor change that COVID status must be shown through the NHS app (not through text) as of Wednesday 15 December.

 

Throughout term one we have asked for COVID pass, or proof of negative lateral flow, or proof of natural immunity, and these measures will stay in place until further notice. For our full evening guidance, please visit our website - https://www.edgehillsu.org.uk/welcomeweek/covid19

 

In terms of daytime services, we are encouraging mask wearing in our indoor spaces for anyone who isn’t medically exempt.

 

We will also be sending a separate communication to our Society communities regarding wearing face masks during indoor gatherings. As in the past, we would ask all societies and student groups to be communicative with their members about measures to ensure inclusivity, safety, and comfort.
