From mental health and wellbeing to how things are going on your course, we understand that sometimes things don’t always work out the way you hoped they would. But that doesn’t mean you shouldn’t get the support you need to get back on track.
As your independent Students’ Union, we’ve created this page as a resource hub allowing you to see what support services are available at Edge Hill, what we as a Students’ Union can help you with as an independent organisation, and what charities and external organisations we recommend if you need help.
The SU Advice Centre is independent from the university and can offer support with academic appeals and complaints, housing guidance, disciplinary issues and student finance.

The Advice Centre is also a Third Party Hate Crime Reporting Centre, which means that the Advisors can help you to submit a report if you have been the victim of a hate crime. You can email the Advice Centre at suadvice@edgehill.ac.uk.
The Wellbeing Team can offer support for your mental health through providing access to services both on-campus and in your local area.

The Catalyst Helpdesk can offer advice and signpost you to support including IT Support, Disability Support, Campus Life, Money Advice and Transitions.

Campus Support are available 24/7 to offer out-of-hours advice, carry out security patrols, and respond to emergency situations on campus.

Student Space offers one-to-one support for any issues affecting you as a student, whether that’s housing, relationships or mental health.

Lonely Not Alone
A digital universe for young people to safely and anonymously share their experiences of loneliness, and the small steps they've taken to tackle it. Loney Not alone is the first platform of its kind to tackle the stigma of loneliness and is designed to connect young people to explore an exact replica of the evening's night sky as they share their stories, creating a universe of support and community messages. Papyrus HOPELINEUK offers support to those under 35 experiencing suicidal thoughts.

Campaign Against Living Miserably (CALM) offers free, confidential support for a range of topic areas including mental health difficulties, homelessness, sexuality and alcohol and drug use.
