Feedback Reps 
 

Each course at Edge Hill is required to have Reps at each level of study. In larger cohorts, there may be multiple roles available. In most cases, this is done through an election each year to make sure that students have a say about who represents them. We have a team of around 500 Feedback Reps and they are the backbone of our democratic structure.

 

Feedback Reps receive training on gathering feedback from their peers and passing it on to their course leaders to see if any of the issues can be resolved.

Rep Officers
 

Rep Officers take on the responsibility of attending termly Faculty Board meetings to represent all students in their department at a senior level. Each faculty at Edge Hill University hosts a Faculty Board meeting once per term. At these meetings, key staff within the faculty come together to discuss important matters, make decisions, and provide general updates. Rep Officers attend one meeting per term, providing insight into the student voice and delivering vital student feedback. Rep Officers are encouraged to attend their retrospective Programme/Department Board meetings which occur once per term. Rep Officers will also be involved in the leadership and establishment of Academic Societies working as a member of the Academic Society Committee for the Department in which they reside.

SU Presidents & Staff

As Course Reps and Department Reps you will work closely with your Faculty President and the Policy & Insight Officer to develop ways to reach students and gather feedback.

Your Presidents have been elected to represent you at several University committees and will offer support to all reps facing difficult issues and will work hard to make sure those issues are resolved.
